Role: Sales Director (Oil and Gas Industry) – Remote Work Location: Remote (Houston, TX area noted in job postings), with opportunity to contribute from anywhere. What you’ll do Hunting : Build strong, long-lasting relationships with midsize to enterprise‑level clients across industries, with a primary focus on Energy (Oil & Gas, Renewables, and Utilities). Originate and nurture business relationships resulting in engagement opportunities. Present BairesDev’s value proposition tailored to senior executives.
Project management and sales execution : Scope projects, shape engagements, and help define business solutions that satisfy client needs. Plan, implement, and manage lead generation, sales activities, and pipelines to meet annual revenue targets. Organize and mobilize cross‑functional teams (solution design, UX, technical, engagement management, staffing, delivery) throughout the complex sales cycle. Understand and mitigate key risks through tactical plans.
What we look for 5+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, or related industrial sectors with exposure to technology solutions and digital transformation initiatives.
Strong experience in business development, relationship management, or technical sales within the energy sector.
Proven success in sourcing, nurturing, and closing midsize and Enterprise accounts within energy markets.
Excellent understanding of the Oil & Gas industry, including key players, strategies, client structure, business models, sub-verticals, needs, challenges, and trends.
Demonstrated strategic, creative, and analytical approach with a focus on initiating and building client relationships.
Strong understanding of operational systems, data management, and technological challenges in Oil & Gas.
Ability to deliver compelling presentations tailored to client needs.
Self-motivated with a results‑driven mindset; detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
Native English or fully bilingual (English).
