Responsibilities

Teach four courses per academic semester, including courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Psychology of Personality, Cognitive Psychology, Physiological Basis of Behavior, and Social Psychology.

Provide training, course preparation, grading, and student communication as part of standard faculty responsibilities.

Engage in academic advising and contribute to College and Community service.

Qualifications

A minimum of a master’s degree in psychology or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).

Minimum of 2 years of college-level psychology teaching experience.

Knowledge of Canvas preferred.

Demonstrated success in undergraduate teaching.

A proven commitment to inclusive pedagogy and the ability to foster a supportive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, faculty, and staff across a wide range of identities.
