Responsibilities
Design and implement integration architectures using SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors). Collaborate with client and IBM teams to translate business requirements into integration scenarios across SAP S/4HANA, SAP SaaS solutions (Ariba, SuccessFactors, Concur, etc.), and non-SAP systems. Develop and deploy iFlows, APIs, and event-driven integrations using best practices for reusability, performance, and security. Lead integration assessments, proof of concepts, and migration from SAP PI/PO or other middleware platforms to SAP BTP Integration Suite. Ensure integration solutions align with IBM’s Clean Core methodology and client’s enterprise architecture standards. Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to client and junior IBM team members. Stay current with SAP BTP roadmap and IBM assets/accelerators to maximize value delivered to clients. This job can be performed from anywhere in the US. Required Technical And Professional Expertise
3–6+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Integration technologies, with at least 2+ years on SAP BTP Integration Suite. Strong knowledge of iFlow development, APIs (OData/REST/SOAP), Event Mesh, and security (OAuth2, SAML, JWT, etc.). Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with SaaS and on-premise systems (SAP and non-SAP). Proficiency in XSLT mappings, and API management policies. Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, GitHub/GitLab, SAP Cloud Transport Management). Strong consulting skills: client-facing experience, ability to articulate integration concepts to both technical and business stakeholders. Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
Experience migrating from SAP PI/PO to SAP BTP Integration Suite. Exposure to other SAP BTP services (e.g., CAP, Business Rules, Workflow Management, Data & Analytics). Knowledge of integration with non-SAP cloud apps (Salesforce, Workday, etc.). SAP or IBM certifications in SAP BTP Integration Suite. Understanding of enterprise integration patterns, microservices, and event-driven architectures. Seniority level
