Overview
Weill Cornell Medicine in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Neurologist based in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is a 651-bed ACS Level 2 trauma center, academically affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine, caring for residents throughout Brooklyn and the surrounding areas. Our hospital offers neuroscience services including: the Carolyn E. Czap and Eugene A. Czap Alzheimer's Program; the Multiple Sclerosis Center; the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center; the Center for Parkinson's Disease & Movement Disorders; a renowned Stroke Center; and Brooklyn's first Mobile Stroke Treatment Unit. Our academic programs include nine graduate medical education residency programs and six fellowship programs.
Brooklyn is known for its diverse neighborhoods that attract artists, professionals, singles and families, as well as visitors from all over NYC and around the world. Brooklyn offers cultural attractions such as Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, Barclays Center, Brooklyn Bridge Park, and at its southern edge, Coney Island. Brooklyn is one of the most ethnically diverse urban areas in the world, with a wide range of dining options.
The salary range for this position is $280,000 to $400,000. This compensation range does not include our medical benefits or any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may be applicable to this role. The selected candidate will hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College.
