Summary
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Applicants must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit their EDRP application within four months of appointment. PRPs must be fully licensed and appointed on an intermittent or fee basis, not considered independent practitioners, and work under supervision. Surgery residents in gap years may also be appointed as PRPs. Proficiency in English (spoken and written). Preferred: Board certified or eligible by ABA; experience or training in anesthesia for complex cardiac procedures (e.g., CABG, TAVR). Physical requirements include lifting, pushing, reaching, using fingers and hands, walking, standing, kneeling, and vision and hearing capabilities. Duties
