Overview
Alfred University is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the Vice President for Enrollment Management (VPEM). This pivotal role encompasses recruiting, selecting, admitting, and yielding Alfred University students with direct responsibility for admissions, enrollment, and student financial services. Alfred University takes a whole-campus approach to the student recruitment process whereby deans, faculty, staff, students, and alumni all play vital roles helping students see the distinct value of Alfred's commitment to helping them realize their purpose. The VPEM will guide a highly collaborative and integrated effort across the Alfred University community to achieve its enrollment ambitions.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership for admissions, enrollment management, and student financial services.
Develop and implement enrollment strategies to meet ambitious targets, in alignment with campus priorities.
Collaborate with deans, faculty, staff, students, and alumni to communicate the university’s value proposition and support student success.
Stay informed about national enrollment trends and financial aid regulations, and effectively communicate how aid resources support enrollment goals.
Foster a data-driven, collaborative, and relationship-oriented culture across the university to optimize recruitment and yield.
Qualifications
Strong track record in enrollment management, admissions, or related areas with demonstrated ability to achieve target outcomes.
Innovative, creative, and relationship-oriented leadership with excellent communication and team-building skills.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and engaging diverse stakeholders, including alumni and donors.
Ability to analyze data and leverage financial aid strategies to support enrollment goals.
Compensation and Contact The salary range is 210,000 – 230,000 and is negotiable.
