Leadership & Management Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, the top-ranked undergraduate engineering college in the U.S., seeks an inspiring, forward-thinking and collaborative leader to serve as its next Vice President of Enrollment Management (https://wittkieffer.com/positions/201284). Succeeding Dr. Tom Bear who will be retiring in December 2025, the next Vice President of Enrollment Management will join an institution with a long history of innovation and impact. As an institute on the leading edge of science, engineering and mathematics education, Rose-Hulman seeks a new enrollment leader who will imagine, develop and execute a bold vision for the next era of enrollment management. The Vice President of Enrollment Management will lead the strategies and tactics to further Rose-Hulman’s competitive standing and ability to enroll an exceptionally talented and diverse student body that will contribute to a rich academic and extracurricular experience. In discharging their responsibilities, the vice president will serve as a collaborative partner and work closely with Rose-Hulman leadership to consistently align enrollment with the academic and Institute priorities. The vice president reports to the president, serving on the president’s cabinet and providing leadership for the offices charged with enrollment services. The new enrollment leader will be responsible for and provide leadership to the enrollment management team including pre-college outreach, undergraduate and graduate admissions, financial aid and enrollment research and support, with a focus on proactively and strategically anticipating and responding to enrollment challenges and opportunities. The vice president will provide leadership for a total staff of 17 and manage a financial aid budget of approximately $69 million and an annual operating budget of approximately $3.5 million. Rose-Hulman’s next Vice President of Enrollment Management will be an experienced enrollment professional who brings exceptional strategic, quantitative and analytic skills. They should bring vision, optimism, communication and energy to leading the Institute in navigating the evolving higher education student marketplace. The successful candidate will take a proactive approach in understanding the competitive landscape and preparing for both short and long-term goal achievement. The vice president who is selected will possess a track record of enrollment success; an innovative spirit; a collaborative approach that breaks down silos; an ability to lead and navigate change; a high level of technical competence, including the ability to connect admissions and marketing strategies; a desire to continuously improve and grow enrollment; a commitment to access, community and belonging; and the ability to embrace and greatly extend the distinct mission of the Institute.
