What You Will Do

The AVP, Test Manager is responsible for evolving and maturing the current testing framework to implement a scalable, risk-aware testing strategy that supports enterprise initiatives. The role will shape and oversee the test management strategy across high-impact programs, partnering with Transformation, IT, Data & Analytics and business units to implement structured testing strategies that align with compliance standards, integrate into CI/CD pipelines, and enable enterprise growth. Design and implement end-to-end test strategies that cover unit, system integration, user acceptance, regression and performance testing. Develop a comprehensive test management playbook, including but not limited to best practices, templates, tools, etc. Build scalable, repeatable testing processes aligned with evolving risk profiles and compliance standards. Work with both technical teams (developers, architects, DevOps) and business stakeholders (product owners, SMEs, end users) to coordinate testing efforts for key programs: Test planning activities: develop test scripts, scenarios, conditions, environment configurations, and entry/exit criteria with full requirements traceability Oversee defect management including intake, fix lists, validation testing, and feedback loops Communicate test progress, risks, and mitigation plans to program/executive leadership What You Will Have

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree with Master’s preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. Minimum of 7 years in software testing, quality assurance, or test management, preferably within financial services or insurance. Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance-driven testing in a highly controlled environment. Demonstrated experience managing testing across large-scale, multi-stream transformation programs. Proven ability to work within Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models in high-stakes or enterprise-critical contexts. Skilled in establishing and scaling testing frameworks and governance from the ground up Ability to translate complex testing concepts into clear language for non-technical stakeholders Strong reporting skills with experience in test metrics, dashboards, and defect triage sessions Track record of identifying test process improvements and implementing automation or quality assurance enhancements across multiple releases. ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent certification. Working knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Wrike, GitHub, and Jira or equivalent. Compensation

The base salary range for this role is listed below and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.
