Overview

You will serve as an Inventory Management Specialist at Naval Historical Center-Boston within the Naval History and Heritage Command. The duty station is Boston, MA. Responsibilities

You will develop activity plans that identify actions, responsibilities, and schedules that must be met to ensure that proper and timely support is provided. You will expedite the acquisition movement of material, review/evaluate interim support measures, and initiate corrective action. You will serve as the focal point for the coordination of material support and resolution of problems. You will attend meetings and briefings on the status of projects/programs and present study results and recommendations to agency management officials. You will make purchases of specific, clearly defined items and serve as a buyer for the activity using the Government Purchase Card. Requirements

Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. You may be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. This position may be subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
