What we are looking for:
The ideal candidate for the Systems Technical Team Manager position is a seasoned professional with a strong technical background, extensive experience managing and leading a team, and experience working for a professional services organization that provides managed services to a diverse group of clients within varying technical environments. Experience heading a division made up of Systems Engineers and Administrators as well as other technical support staff is strongly preferred.
About this position:
This position offers the flexibility of being either remote or based at our corporate headquarters in Milpitas, CA. Its primary responsibilities are categorized into three key areas:

Hands-on Technical Responsibilities
You will work directly with ICE Consulting’s leadership team, other management and supervisory team members, and our clients to determine each client’s needs, establish deliverables and timelines for your team, and ensure timely and accurate completion of such deliverables.
Oversee the company’s hardware, software, and computer networks while monitoring network infrastructure and resolving system issues as they arise.
Lead with leadership ability, technical knowledge, time management, organization, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Maintain and optimize local company networks and servers; oversee data backup and system security operations (e.g., user authorization, firewalls).

Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures
Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems
Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely manner
Conduct regular audits of Systems Team practices to ensure efficiency
Requirements
Minimum of three years managing a team
Experience with systems design, installation, configuration, and analysis
Thorough knowledge of networks and cloud computing
Extensive experience and knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS services
Extensive experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining VMware infrastructure
Extensive experience with enterprise storage such as NetApp
Extensive experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining Veeam backup software
In-depth knowledge and experience of Linux systems and networks
Understanding of Microsoft 365 and G Suite administration and supporting complex environments
In-depth knowledge related to Office 365 applications including Azure Directory
Experience with SSO/MFA integration between Office 365, G Suite, Box, and other major cloud providers
Experience with MDM solutions such as Workspace ONE is a plus
PowerShell experience related to Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and Exchange Server
Experience implementing and supporting Office 365 in medium-sized environments
Strong knowledge of email security and security practices
Experience supporting systems on AWS and AWS backup
Outstanding communication skills
Problem-solving aptitude
Strong attention to detail
BS/BA in Computer Science, IT, or relevant field
Expertise in data center management and data governance
Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems
