Overview
Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the obstetrical program, ensuring alignment with Providence\'s mission and values. Lead quality and safety initiatives, including review of clinical outcomes, sentinel events, and performance metrics. Supervise and support Certified Nurse Midwives, fostering a collaborative and respectful practice environment. Advocate for the CNM program, including strategic growth, integration into care models, and professional development. Collaborate with nursing, administrative, and physician leadership to develop and implement evidence-based protocols and policies. Represent the OB program in system-wide initiatives, committees, and external partnerships. Part-time at 0.2 FTE Work with board-certified OB/GYN and ensure supervision of CNMs as applicable. Provide ongoing oversight of obstetrical services in the Providence Women\'s Clinic Westside locations. Qualifications
Board-certified OB/GYN Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in obstetrics Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and team-based care Experience working with or supervising CNMs strongly preferred Where You\'ll Work
