Vitana Pediatric & Orthodontic Partners is seeking a Director of HR. This full-time role is based in Plantation, FL and will lead the HR function for a multi-state, 1000+ employee organization over the next 5 years. The position reports to executive leadership and oversees all employee-related areas including recruitment, selection, employee relations, training, onboarding, payroll and benefits. Responsibilities
Collaborate with executive leadership to define the organization's long-term mission and goals; identify ways to support this mission through talent management. Identify key performance indicators for human resources and talent management; assess the organization's success and market competitiveness based on these metrics. Research, develop, and implement competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs. Provide guidance and leadership to office managers; assist with resolution of human resource, compensation, and benefits questions and issues. Ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws and regulations. Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management. Develop annual HR budget based on historical data and trends. Participate in professional development and networking conferences and events. Screen, recruit and interview applicants who qualify for open positions. Conduct new hire orientations/onboarding and/or exit interviews. Ensure administration of all benefit programs. Coordinate annual employee performance evaluation process. Oversee payroll function to ensure staffing hours are within required parameters. Coordinate training programs. Review and revise employee handbook based on facility policies and procedures. Review all employee discipline and grievances. Requirements
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s or law degree highly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of HR Generalist experience; talent management or business development experience highly preferred. Preferred certifications: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: write in the English language. About the company
