Physician-led, patient-centered, team-based environment. Independent practice with strong affiliation with a local tertiary care hospital offering a full range of gastroenterology services. Collegial multispecialty group practice with a large referral base and a focus on provider wellness and team-based care. Surgery Center/ASC centers nearby with ownership opportunities available with tenure. Full complement of support staff (Advanced Practice Clinician, Medical Assistants and Administrative teams) and practice management systems to enable you to practice at the peak of your licensure and assist in patient care. Support to grow your practice and patient panel. Primary Responsibilities

Consult with patients to understand health concerns and perform specialized tests to diagnose and treat. Perform endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures; ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound experience is highly preferred. Examine patients in clinic, participate in hospital rounds, and perform surgical procedures as needed. Consult with patients\' primary care physicians and other specialists. Serve as collaborating physician to assigned Advanced Practice Clinician(s). What makes an Optum organization different?

Required Qualifications

Fellowship training in Gastroenterology. Residency training in Internal Medicine. Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology. Unrestricted NY medical licensure (or current NY license application in-process). Active and unrestricted CDS permit (or ability to obtain prior to start). Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start). CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start). Preferred Qualifications

The salary range for this role is $371,000 to $735,500 annually based on full-time employment. The range reflects total cash compensation at target; actual base salary and bonus mix vary by experience, metrics achievement, and local market factors. UnitedHealth Group complies with all applicable wage laws.
