Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College is recruiting for a Psych/Mental Health (PMHNP) Program Director.
Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College is located on the Washington University Medical Campus in St. Louis and is affiliated with Barnes-Jewish Hospital, with a second site at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. Role Purpose The Graduate Program Director is the academic administrative officer responsible for assigned graduate program options at Goldfarb School of Nursing. The role ensures that the standards and policies of the graduate specialty option achieve the highest standards for the graduate program set forth through the specific professional specialty organization. The position is responsible for facilitating the planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the assigned Graduate Program option.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the systems for managing assigned graduate admission decisions, nursing course development and offerings, course delivery, student mentorship/preceptorship, student and site evaluations, required candidacy examinations as applicable, and tracking of DNP projects.
Participate in and review the collective faculty recommendations for core courses, prepare and review specialty courses, participate in curricula and program option changes, monitor specialty student DNP project development, and submit completed proposals to the central digital repository. Oversee teaching assignments of graduate specialty nursing courses.
Collect and analyze data in collaboration with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Program Evaluation Committee to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of the assigned graduate nursing program and ensure college policies and standards are met.
Conduct program reviews and reviews alumni surveys for the assigned graduate nursing program.
Monitor application, admission, matriculation, progression, and graduation patterns of assigned graduate nursing students.
