Overview
Nurse Practitioner Occupational Health – Location: Brighton, MA | Job Type: Full Time | Salary: $120,000 $160,000
Responsibilities
Provide direct care, assessment, treatment, and follow-up for occupational health patients
Conduct physical exams and administer preventive health services
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and labs
Develop and implement patient care plans based on clinical findings
Maintain accurate documentation and facilitate interdisciplinary communication
Educate patients and employees on wellness, prevention, and health maintenance
Identify and help patients utilize community health resources
Participate in quality improvement and clinical research activities
Requirements
Must-Haves:
Active Nurse Practitioner License (NP) • BLS and ACLS certifications • Registered with the State of Massachusetts and DEA for prescribing privileges • Certified by the ANCC or equivalent credentialing organization
Comfortable functioning as the sole provider in the occupational health setting
Minimum of 3 years of current nursing experience and 2 years in adult practice
Nice-To-Haves:
Prior experience in Occupational Health or Employee Health • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety programs • Background in education, staff training, or patient resource development • Experience participating in quality improvement initiatives or clinical research
