Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner Level: Senior Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 (USD) Signing Bonus: Negotiable Position Summary

The Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner is responsible for delivering care in pre-employment evaluations, work-related injury and exposure assessments, follow-ups, referrals, and periodic employee health exams. As a senior-level clinician, this role combines direct patient care with consultative, administrative, and educational responsibilities. This individual will be the sole on-site provider, managing all aspects of occupational health care delivery. Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

Provide direct evaluation, counseling, and treatment to employees Prioritize and manage patient care efficiently and cost-effectively Conduct physical exams and deliver preventive care within guidelines Order and interpret diagnostics; develop treatment plans accordingly Document clinical findings and coordinate with healthcare teams Promote health education and preventive care practices Utilize community resources to support staff and patient needs Deliver age-appropriate care and seek support when unfamiliar populations are served

Professional Development

Collaborate on the creation and review of clinical protocols and standards Lead and support peers in clinical problem-solving Stay informed on healthcare legislation and professional trends Participate in hospital and departmental committees as appropriate Identify learning needs and pursue continuous education Provide education to patients, families, and staff as needed

Quality Improvement & Research

Participate in quality improvement activities for occupational health services Apply data and research findings to enhance patient care and inform practice Support or lead clinical studies related to patient care and service quality

General Duties

Perform other responsibilities as needed within the occupational health department

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications : Valid Nurse Practitioner license Current BLS and ACLS certification Registered in Massachusetts with DEA and ANCC Ability to function as the sole healthcare provider in setting Minimum 3 years of current nursing experience and 2 years in adult practice Nice-to-Have Qualifications : Previous experience in Occupational Health Strong clinical background and comfort operating independently
