Organization context : The Shared Homes program is part of the Social Impact Center Y, the social services branch of the YMCA of Greater Seattle. The program serves young adults 18–24 across three sites (Bellevue House, Severson, Stepping Stones) with 19 transitional housing beds and 30 Rapid Rehousing slots. The program delivers direct services to help residents achieve self-identified goals and greater stability. Job Summary
The Shared Homes Program Director II will lead service delivery and building oversight at the Bellevue House, Severson, and Stepping Stones sites. The Director will supervise a team of Case Managers, coordinate community provider engagement, oversee volunteer support, and foster relationships with King County Regional Homelessness Authority and other funders and partners. The position reports to the Program Director III of Facility-Based Housing and Homeless Services and partners to implement the programmatic vision and approach to support young people in building safe, successful, and happy lives. Key activities include managing on-call rotation and occasional cross-site work, and ensuring alignment with the Social Impact Center Y\'s mission and strategic goals. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with regular hours from 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM. Weekends and evenings as needed. Responsibilities
Oversee contracts, ensuring budgetary and programmatic compliance. Establish new program activities and expand opportunities within the community following the Association and Branch strategic plans. Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise housing case managers and volunteers. Advise leaders on key decisions related to King County housing and homeless services programs that align with the strategic plan, mission, and values. Identify new strategic opportunities to grow YGS\'s housing and homeless services in King County; research grant opportunities and build relationships with funders and partners. Foster integration of housing and homeless services programs and staff within King County. Lead youth and young adult voice in programming, including feedback on services at Roy Street Apartments. Participate in on-call rotation for Housing Director Emergency On Call, approximately every seven weeks for one week. Compile program statistics and provide data / reports; monitor program effectiveness and participation in case management. Provide leadership and support for the Social Impact Center\'s leadership team with project management and support in King County. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community organizations, schools, and agencies related to youth and young adult support programs. Develop, produce, and distribute program information to promote programs in line with branch marketing. Ensure safety procedures and staff compliance with YMCA training requirements. Promote high-quality programming through innovative development, evaluations, and staff training. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor\'s degree or higher in psychology, social services, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating capability to perform duties. Experience managing housing contracts such as Transitional Housing and Rapid Rehousing. 5+ years of professional or volunteer experience with high-risk, system-involved youth and / or young adults or equivalent community-based service. 2+ years of leadership and supervisory experience. Experience with program development, leadership development, contract management, and financial management. Knowledge of youth behavior management and abuse prevention. Project management experience with timely deliverables. Broad knowledge of program areas, funders, and community partners. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; sound judgment and discretion with confidential information. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and develop positive working relationships; ability to work independently. Preference for knowledge of diverse populations (language, culture, race, ability, sexual orientation, etc.). Additional Preferred Qualifications
Lived experience with poverty, child welfare, homelessness, behavioral health, or youth violence and a desire to use that experience to help others. Ability to speak any language in addition to English. Authorized Driver Preference
This role may involve transporting clients as an authorized driver. Requirements include three years of licensed driving history with a safe driving record, passing a drug screen, proof of auto insurance and vehicle registration. Note : California driver\'s licenses cannot be enrolled as Authorized Drivers due to state-specific requirements. Fit
