Overview
F/T Faculty: Business (Management and General Business) – Business Administration Department at BHCC. Full-time tenure-track faculty member in the Department of Business Administration, responsible for teaching and curriculum development in Management and general Business. Courses may be taught at one or more of the College's locations. Responsibilities
Teach and develop curriculum in the Business Administration Department with primary duties teaching Management, Marketing, and general Business courses. Evaluate student performance in the classroom using outcomes-based assessments. Utilize a variety of appropriate teaching strategies to promote students' critical thinking and develop instructional material aligned with course objectives. Participate in program assessment and analysis to determine goals and objectives for Management, Marketing, and Business courses and assist in ongoing development of course standards. Use new technologies in the classroom, as appropriate, to facilitate learning. Maintain expertise and currency in teaching areas as appropriate for the industry. Participate in ongoing professional development. Teach in different modalities such as online, hybrid and remote. Actively participate in Business Administration Department service and initiatives and contribute to department growth. Fulfill duties as stipulated in the MCCC Collective Bargaining Agreement and participate in the broader College community. Requirements
Master's degree in Business or relevant field of study. Knowledge and at least five years of practical experience in the field of business. Experience with and understanding of anti-bias and culturally responsive education. Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population. Preferred Qualifications
College-level teaching experience; community college teaching preferred. Experience teaching online courses preferred. Ability to read, speak, and write in Spanish or another language is preferred, though not required. Additional Information
Salary Range: $58,438.00 - $62,960.00 (Actual salary commensurate with education & experience per MCCC/MTA). Full-time state benefited position. Review Date: October 23, 2025 Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) and Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI) background screenings will be conducted as a condition of employment.
