Director of Entertainment Sales

to lead the charging in sourcing, negotiating, and securing high-impact concerts and live shows that drive revenue and elevate our brand. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep industry connections, a passion for live entertainment, and a proven track record of closing deals that fill seats and boost bottom lines. Concert & Show Acquisition: Identify, source, and secure top-tier concerts, touring acts, and live entertainment experiences that align with revenue goals and audience demand. Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, promoters, producers, and talent managers Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize ticket sales, sponsorships, and ancillary revenue streams. Forecast revenue potential and negotiate deal terms that optimize profitability. Market Intelligence & Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging talent, and competitive offerings to ensure a compelling and diverse entertainment lineup. Analyze market data, audience demographics, and historical performance to inform booking decisions. Collaboration & Leadership: Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, finance, and venue teams to ensure successful execution of booked events. Lead and mentor a small team of entertainment sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture. Contracting & Compliance: Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring all legal, financial, and operational terms are clearly defined and adhered to. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Entertainment Management, or related field (MBA a plus) 5+ years of experience in entertainment sales, talent booking, or live event production Strong network of industry contacts across music, comedy, theater, and touring shows Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets Deep understanding of ticketing platforms, event marketing, and audience engagement strategies Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed
