A healthcare company is seeking a Senior Director of Finance – Specialty Practice to serve as the senior financial leader supporting an orthopedic client. This high-impact role will lead financial integration, performance management, and strategic development within our national healthcare platform. What you will be doing
Act as the senior finance partner dedicated to our largest specialty care acquisition. Lead financial integration efforts across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning. Manage the full P&L for client’s extensive physician practice network. Oversee a team of 3 Regional Finance Leads (Associate Directors) and the FP&A/Analytics team within client. Partner with physicians, executives, and stakeholders to shape financial strategy and drive decision-making. Provide insightful financial analysis to support operational and growth initiatives. What you must have
Proven experience in finance leadership within multisite physician organizations (health systems, independent groups, or PE-backed platforms). Strong understanding of physician compensation models, M&A integration, and healthcare financial strategy. Executive-level presence with excellent communication and presentation skills—comfortable engaging with physicians and C-suite leaders. A consultative, problem-solving mindset with a bias toward strategic thinking and partnership. A long-term mindset—ideal for someone looking to make a sustained impact, not just ride the next PE wave. Nice to have
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting and/or CPA strongly preferred. Experience with SAGE Intacct, PeopleSoft, Hyperion, and EMR data extraction tools is a plus. Salary/Rate Range:
