An opportunity has arisen for an experienced legal professional to take the helm as Head of Legal within a newly established financial mis-selling division. This is a rare chance to shape and build a team from the ground up, driving forward a greenfield project in a rapidly expanding area of law. You will be empowered to introduce innovative processes, leverage technology and AI, and create efficient workflows that transform manual tasks into high-value work. Responsibilities
Overseeing the establishment and ongoing management of the financial mis-selling division, ensuring all operational aspects are set up for long-term success. Designing and implementing automated processes using technology and AI to streamline high-volume claims handling and maximise efficiency. Providing expert guidance on claimant-side litigation strategies across PPI, Dieselgate, Plevin, and other financial mis-selling cases. Collaborating with senior leadership to align legal operations with broader business objectives in a private equity context. Recruiting and developing a high-performing team of paralegals and legal professionals, flexing team size according to business needs. Qualifications
Qualified in England & Wales with senior experience. Demonstrated ability to manage or supervise teams of paralegals or junior lawyers in high-volume litigation settings. Strong understanding of how technology and AI can be leveraged to automate routine legal tasks and improve efficiency. Commercial mindset with experience operating in environments where process optimisation drives business outcomes. The Company
