Position Summary
The Director, Finance - Supply Chain leads long-term financial planning by collaborating across departments to align corporate goals with financial targets and risk management. This role provides strategic financial insights through complex modeling and analysis, supports budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensures accuracy in financial reporting. Partnering with senior management, the Director drives business performance evaluation, process improvements, and resource planning. The position fosters strong cross-functional relationships, promotes integrity and compliance, and champions continuous improvement to support Walmart’s financial objectives and operational excellence. What you'll do
Lead long-term financial planning by collaborating with departments to align financial targets with corporate goals and assess risk levels. Partner with leadership to analyze business performance, identify gaps, and provide insights on budget processes and retail trends. Manage control structures to mitigate financial misstatement risks and enhance reporting transparency across financial systems. Develop complex financial models and prepare presentations to support strategic business decisions and communicate forecasts. Drive business strategy by analyzing forecasts, and operational processes to identify improvement opportunities. Foster talent development through recruitment, mentorship, and succession planning to build a skilled workforce. Promote integrity by embedding ethical standards into financial practices and team behaviors. What you'll bring: Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and forecasting to support strategic business decisions. Proven ability to develop and communicate financial targets aligned with corporate goals. Strong expertise in financial modeling, variance analysis, and budget management. Skilled in managing complex control structures to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence senior leadership with actionable financial insights. Proficient in consolidating financial statements and enhancing reporting transparency. Demonstrated leadership in driving continuous improvement and fostering a high-performing finance team. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 5 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area OR 7 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area. 2 years’ supervisory experience. 2 years’ experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
