Position Responsibilities:

Strategic Alignment:

Collaborate with Global Quality and CMRA leadership teams to understand business objectives and develop IT strategies that support these goals. Develop and maintain QRCMS strategic technology roadmaps.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within Global Quality and CMRA to ensure IT initiatives are aligned with business needs.

Project Management:

Accountability to the overall IT Portfolio supporting QRCMS from inception to completion, ensuring they meet business requirements, timelines, and budgets.

Support Business Operations:

Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT colleagues to ensure the business can operate effectively to achieve expected outcomes by bringing products to market and providing services to customers.

Solution Delivery:

Oversee the delivery of IT solutions, ensuring they are effective, efficient, and meet the needs of the business. Lead Capability Assessments, Journey Maps, Value stream Maps to frame outcomes and KPIs. Demand rationalization and prioritization (with stakeholders).

Innovation:

Identify opportunities for leveraging technology to drive innovation and improve business processes within Global Quality and CMRA.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT projects, business operations, and high-profile digital risks such as CyberSecurity and Product Security.

Vendor Management:

Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure delivery of high-quality IT services.

Change Management / Value Realization:

Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of business processes, new technologies, and IT investment value delivery within Global Quality and CMRA functions.

Performance Monitoring:

Monitor and report on the performance of IT services and solutions, ensuring they meet agreed-upon service levels and business expectations.

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)

Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree Years of Experience:

15+ years of IT experience with a bachelor's degree or 13+ years of IT experience with a master's degree

10+ years of management experience

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience:

Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT business partnering, IT delivery or a related role within a large organization. Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is a plus. Skills:

Deep business knowledge and domain expertise leading IT organizations that support R&D, Regulatory, Quality and Clinical / Medical areas in Pharma/HealthCare/Medtech.

Demonstrated expertise developing and leading IT organization that enabled tangible business outcomes realization through leveraging Information & Technology as a competitive asset.

Experimental mindset to drive Innovation

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Analytically minded thinking and approach.

Empower and support career growth with training, mentorship, and guidance.

Extensive experience in managing vendor and managed service partners, as well as leading service restoration 24x7 for critical IT systems.

Leadership experience in managing global organizations

Salary ranges for U.S. locations (USD): $206,400.00 - $309,600.00. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP) and an annual long-term incentive plan. The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States.
