This role may require approximately 5% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects. The person in this role will work from the Medtronic facility located in Fridley, Minnesota (U.S. Operational Headquarters) or Mounds View, Minnesota. CAREERS THAT CHANGE LIVES

Defines, describes, diagrams and documents the role and interaction of the high-level technological and human components that combine to provide cost effective and innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs. Promotes, guides and governs good architectural practice through the application of well-defined, proven technology and human interaction patterns and through architecture mentorship. Supports the full lifecycle management of the entire IT portfolio including the selection, appropriate usage, enhancement and replacement of information technology applications, infrastructure and services. DESIGN & INTEGRATION

Architect and implement Price Optimizer solutions across pricing and contracting systems, ensuring cohesive system integration. TRUSTED ADVISOR

Bridge the gap between Pricing & Contracting and IT, ensuring stakeholders understand how solutions and data drive business decisions. TRANSLATOR

Convert business needs into solution architecture plans, clearly explaining how solutions can be implemented. DISCOVERY & DOCUMENTATION

Lead discovery sessions, gather requirements and ensure thorough documentation. COMPLIANCE OVERSIGHT

Ensure all solutions comply with regulatory and data privacy standards. SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT

Provide guidance on pricing related solutions and best practices. PROBLEM SOLVING

Analyze complex challenges and deliver clear, actionable solutions. PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

Identify opportunities for improvement and deliver more efficient ways of working. COLLABORATION

Participate in agile meetings, especially when addressing high-level architecture considerations. CONTINUOUS LEARNING

Build expertise in Medtronic’s products, customers, and markets to deliver relevant solutions. VALUE ADVOCACY

Evaluate Deal Price Optimizer, price setting processes and champion IT solutions that add value for customers and patients. MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree 10+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of experience with an advanced degree NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)

Strongly Preferred:

Solid understanding of system design and development lifecycles Experience implementing technologies that span automation, Pricing, Quoting and Contracting Experience in Quote-To-Cash transformation journey in at least 2 large implementation cycles Experience with Quote-To-Cash software and IT SDLC lifecycle, with a preference for candidates having technical development skillset in SAP ABAP, Vistex Technology: Able to read technical codes, or sequence diagram and pseudo-code when necessary. Solid background in Quote-To-Cash business analysis including use cases, swim lanes, story cards, and value streams

Understanding of Excel and how to extract/analyze data Experience working in agile methodology Experience defining new processes and improving existing processes Demonstrated ability to solicit clear requirements; translate those requirements into technical specifications; and deliver accurate, reliable solutions Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical topics to business management and users Self-motivated problem solver Ability to navigate ambiguity, quickly assessing opportunities and defining solutions Ability to develop effective relationships with business users, technical staff, and executive management Excellent communication skills matching appropriate content to different audiences Ability to manage multiple priorities fluidly and without compromising stakeholder collaboration Physical Job Requirements

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $152,800.00 - $229,200.00. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
