Your Role:

As a Construction Superintendent, you will be the driving force behind project success in the field. You will lead day-to-day operations from site mobilization through to project turnover, overseeing high-profile projects with direct visibility to the executive team and a clear path to senior leadership.

Your Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring seamless collaboration among subcontractors, vendors, and project partners.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of construction documents to ensure all work aligns with project specifications and standards.
• Lead safety initiatives, enforcing OSHA requirements and the project safety plan to create a secure working environment.
• Evaluate and adjust daily workforce levels for subcontractors and crews, ensuring optimal staffing and productivity.
• Monitor material and equipment needs to track deliveries and prevent job site delays or shortages.
• Contribute to project scheduling by providing input to establish and maintain realistic timelines.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager on site logistics, services, safety planning, and security protocols.
• Track subcontractor performance, addressing any deficiencies in manpower or hours as needed.
• Ensure strict adherence to the general contract, with a strong emphasis on quality, efficiency, and compliance.
• Prepare accurate daily reports and facilitate weekly site safety meetings to ensure alignment among all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, including serving as Superintendent on at least 3 projects.
• Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills, with a strong commitment to job site safety.
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills and the ability to nurture strong relationships with inspectors, subcontractors, architects, and client representatives.
• Extensive field supervision expertise across layout, framing, MEP systems, and finish trades.
• Meticulous attention to detail and quality standards in drywall, paint, and finish work.
• Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local building codes.
• Proven track record of maintaining safe job sites consistent with OSHA standards and best practices.
