Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and dedicated neonatologist to join our team at the Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children in downtown Orlando. Join an exciting team of nearly 20 Neonatologists, 4 Neonatal Hospitalists, and over 20 neonatal nurse practitioners. Our NICU, expanded into a state-of-the-art facility in 2017, currently has 102 beds.
Our regional network includes five Level II NICUs across Central Florida, staffed by our own Neonatologists within the same medical group. We handle approximately 15,000 births annually, with expanded Maternal Fetal Medicine, Congenital Heart surgery, and ECMO programs. We support active quality improvement, research projects, and neonatal simulation programs.
Our hospital offers an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency program with NICU rotations and will start a Neonatology Fellowship Program in 2026. AdventHealth for Children has been recognized by US News & World Report for 8 years, notably as the best Children's Hospital for newborn care in Florida in 2024, and is highly ranked nationally for Neonatology. We are also recognized for quality and safety by The Leapfrog Group and are a magnet hospital for nursing care.
Requirements:
Candidates should be board certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine (certified or eligible). Post-fellowship experience is preferred but not required. Interest in research, teaching, quality improvement, and ECMO is desirable.

Our programs include pediatric heart surgery, epilepsy, BMT, and organ transplants, with a network of 30 hospitals across Florida. Our NICU expansion in 2017 increased beds to 150, supporting extensive pediatric subspecialty services.
