6 Days On/8 Days off! Exciting General Diagnostic Radiologist Opportunity at WVU Medicine – Join a Growing Academic Practice! The Department of Diagnostic Radiology at West Virginia University School of Medicine is seeking well-rounded diagnostic radiologists (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank) to join our rapidly expanding academic imaging team. The academic practice has a long-standing relationship with the nearby Veterans Administration hospital, and the primary responsibility of the successful applicant will be to provide general diagnostic imaging coverage for this site. No call or evenings required! 6-day clinical work week (M-F 8 AM to 4:30 PM and Saturday 8 AM to 4 PM). 8 days off following each week of coverage. Leadership opportunities in a growing academic department with a rapidly expanding community radiology coverage. Highly competitive compensation and benefits package. J-1 visa waiver sponsorship offered for eligible candidates. Active involvement in the diagnostic radiology residency program by teaching residents and medical students. Practice Highlights
Engaging community radiology work with diverse and academically stimulating case mix. Reasonable daily imaging volumes of 80-120 total cases (30-40 CTs/MRIs). Work with a dedicated team of fellowship-trained radiologists, nurses, and specialized technologists to provide integrated, patient-centered care. No IR procedures, PET/nuclear medicine, or mammography required for this opportunity. About WVU Medicine
