As part of the Merger and Acquisition Tax team you are going to provide benefits through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. As a Senior Manager you are going to supervise, develop, and coach teams, manage client service accounts, and drive assigned client engagement workstreams by independently solving and analyzing complex problems to develop top-quality deliverables. Additionally, you are going to be responsible for leveraging team strengths, managing performance to deliver on client expectations, and embracing technology and innovation to enhance your delivery. Responsibilities
Manage client service accounts and lead engagement workstreams Supervise and mentor teams to produce exceptional outcomes Independently tackle and resolve intricate problems Leverage team capabilities to meet client needs Integrate technology and innovative methods into service delivery Drive efficiency through automation and digital solutions Assure quality and adherence to project timelines Encourage continuous improvement and professional development What You Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting 5 years of experience A Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity What Sets You Apart
Juris Doctorate preferred Broad knowledge in partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions Proficiency in partnership taxation and qualitative and quantitative analysis Proficiency in U.S. federal income tax law related to partnerships Advanced technical writing and reviewing skills Ability to develop and sustain meaningful client relationships Experience in defining resource requirements and project workflow Proven leadership in establishing direction and motivating team members Familiarity with CRM systems Benefits and Compliance
Salary range: $124,000 - $335,000, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, location, and applicable employment laws.
