Smile L.A. Downtown Modern Dentistry is seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to support our dentists and hygienists. This role ensures smooth patient care and efficient office operations. Responsibilities (including but not limited to) Assist dentists during restorative, cosmetic, and hygiene procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Take and develop dental x-rays Use iTero scanners for digital impressions and patient education Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Maintain accurate patient records and charts Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow Maintain strict infection control and sterilization standards Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting certification preferred CPR/BLS certification required Dental office experience preferred; new graduates encouraged Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and patient-focused mindset Team-oriented, professional, and reliable Preferred Qualifications Experience with iTero scanners and digital dental tools Experience in high-volume or multi-provider offices Familiarity with dental software/electronic charting Ability to mentor or train new team members MNSTR
