to join our team. This is a full-service, New American restaurant concept with a rigorous, detailed bar program. The Executive Chef will play a key role in supporting daily food operations, ensuring guest leave with a memorable dining experience, and leading back-of-house staff. This position is perfect for someone who has at least 5+ years of Executive Chef experience in a full-service restaurant and is looking to grow in the restaurant industry as a leader. As the Executive Chef, you will work closely with management to ensure smooth kitchen operations, maintain high food quality standards, and assist in managing kitchen staff. This role is ideal for someone with years of experience in the back-of-house (BOH) environment, a passion for American cuisine, and strong leadership abilities. Responsibilities: Conduct daily line checks and support the culinary team through service Ensure consistency in recipe adherence, cleanliness, sanitation, procurement, food cost, and quality control. Lead by example, ensuring every plate is prepared with integrity, and coach your team to excel in their roles. Focus on continuous development and growth, working with your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Recruit, train, develop, and retain kitchen staff. Maintain kitchen equipment and enforce proper usage. Oversee scheduling, labor needs, food cost, inventory, and purchasing. Enforce company policies and expectations and ensure safety, sanitation, and health code regulations compliance. Qualifications/Requirements: 5+ years of Chef experience in a casual, high-volume, full-service restaurant Experience in American Cuisine and Pizza is required Proficiency in labor cost management and menu item production Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local food handling regulations Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish) Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience with R365 and Toast is a plus Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work in a high-volume, high-stress environment and maintain composure at all times Physical Requirements: Stamina to work 50+ hours per week walking, standing, stooping, bending, etc..
