Job Summary:

• Arranges patients for radiological examinations.
• Produces radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.
• Prevents patient exposure to unnecessary radiation.
• Follows instructions and established guidelines to perform job functions.
• Requires a certain degree of creativity and latitude.
• Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited program required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Registration as a technologist by the A.R.R.T. required.
• Knowledge of common concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• 3+ years of experience preferred.

Odessa Regional Medical Center was founded in 1975 as Odessa Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
