- Provider Type Needed: Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts (8am-8pm weekdays, 8am-4pm weekends), 36/40 hour week rotation: Week 1 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday), Week 2 (Monday, Thursday, Friday)
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide autonomous urgent care services to 40+ patients per shift
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with medical assistant and front desk staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Complete required documentation using Epic EMR
- Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and state regulations
- Hold and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA credentials
- Obtain and maintain DOT certification if not already held
Additional Information
- Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina
- Minimum one year of urgent care or emergency room experience required
- Must be able to work independently and manage a high patient volume
- New graduates will not be considered
