- Schedule: 36/40 rotation most weeks; Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday; Week 2: Monday, Thursday, Friday. Shift hours are 8am-8pm weekdays and 8am-4pm weekends.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver autonomous urgent care services to a diverse patient population
- See 40+ patients per shift in a high-volume environment
- Collaborate with a medical assistant and front desk staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Perform examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation and workflow
- Maintain compliance with all required certifications and state licensure
- Obtain or maintain DOT certification as required
Additional Information
- Must have at least 1 year of urgent care or emergency room experience
- New graduates will not be considered
- Must hold an active North Carolina license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
- Ability to work independently is essential
- DOT certification required or must be obtained prior to start
