Intelligent Transportation Systems Analyst

Under the direction of the Credentialing/Intelligent Transportation Systems Unit sergeant, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) is responsible for activities related to the construction, maintenance, and bypass management, and upgrade activities of new and existing Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facilities and platform scales with the California Department of Transportation and local California Highway Patrol commands. The AGPA serves as staff support and a departmental liaison for a number of Commercial Enforcement Program and Information Technology programs. These include: Commercial Vehicle Information Systems & Networks, the Electronic Bypass Management Systems, and the Iteris inSpect programs. Additionally, the analyst processes requests for Data Quality challenges; makes fair and objective analysis of information entered on Iteris inSPECT reports; and provides an outlet to correct incorrect inspection data.
