8-hour evening shifts (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) Hours per Week:
40 Guaranteed Hours:
16 per week Weekend Availability:
Every other weekend required Floating:
Will float to other correctional units as needed Estimated Weekly Salary Range:
$1680 - $1800 Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (corrections nursing or acute care preferred) Ability to work evening shifts and every other weekend Strong communication, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills Adaptability to float between correctional healthcare units Corrections RN Responsibilities
Provide compassionate and effective nursing care to incarcerated patients Conduct patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor clinical progress Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care Respond to medical emergencies and perform triage in a correctional setting Maintain accurate nursing documentation and adhere to facility protocols Float to other units within the correctional facility as needed
