Medical/Surgical & Telemetry (may float to other units as needed) Shift:
12-hour day shifts (07:00 AM - 07:30 PM) Hours per Week:
36 Contract Duration:
26 weeks (Start: 09/29/2025 - End: 03/29/2026) Open Positions:
10 Med/Surg RN jobs available Estimated Weekly Salary:
$1680 - $1800 Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active and unencumbered California RN License Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross) certification Current ACLS (AHA or Red Cross) certification At least 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience as a Med/Surg RN Experience with Meditech EMR preferred Ability to float to units of clinical competency as required Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
Deliver safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) Provide direct clinical support and patient care in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units Educate and guide patients and their families, and supervise other nursing staff Maintain nursing standards of care and ensure accountability for assigned patients Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient condition, cardiac monitoring, and diagnostic results Respond promptly and accurately to changes in patient status and treatment response
