Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Fully onsite in McLean, VA Compensation: $43 – $50 / Hour (based on experience) Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Duration: 3+ months (with possible extension) Our client in the government contracting and manufacturing space is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional with strong ERP knowledge to support a growing finance department. Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of inventory accounting Perform month-end close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting Prepare and post journal entries Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies Assist with financial analysis and reporting as needed Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards Qualifications: 3–5+ years of accounting experience within government contracting or manufacturing Strong background in inventory accounting and month-end close Hands-on experience with journal entries and general ledger reconciliations Proficiency in large ERP systems such as NetSuite, Deltek Costpoint, or SAP Ability to work fully onsite in McLean, VA Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
