Position: Electrician with focus on commercial and industrial electrical systems. Location: Shoemakersville, PA. Type: Full-time. Seniority level: Mid-Senior level. Industries: Automation Machinery Manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities

• Test electrical systems using tools such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes and ohmmeters to identify issues, ensure system safety, and verify compatibility.
• Document actions, testing results, observations, final diagnosis and steps taken to resolve issues for each job.
• Repair electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring or devices.
• Determine steps to assess electrical situations using testing devices, blueprints and maps.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements; report policy violations to the immediate supervisor.
• Respond to emergency calls quickly, assess safety upon arrival and provide directions to individuals affected to ensure safety and comfort.
• Maintain equipment to ensure it is in good condition and safe to operate; report issues to the immediate supervisor.

Job Skills & Qualifications

• Completed electrician apprenticeship (preferred)
• Proficiency with the National Electrical Code and local codes
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication skills
• Team oriented and able to work independently
• Ability to read blueprints
• Must pass criminal background check and drug test
• Valid journeyman license (preferred)

Skills

• Experience on commercial and industrial electrical systems
• Installation experience with EMT, RMC, PVC, FMC, LFMC, RAC
• 3-phase power systems up to 480V
• Field wiring to PLC control panels
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the electrical field
