Pay Details
Base Salary:
Up to
$173,000 annually .
Bonus Eligible:

Job Summary Join a leading multi-specialty hospital in Austin, Texas, home to a renowned
Level III NICU . As the
NICU Director , you’ll oversee high-quality, patient-centered care while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation. This is your chance to lead a dynamic team and make a lasting impact on pediatric care in one of Texas’ largest healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations, staffing, and budgeting of a
99-bed NICU unit
with a team of
150 FTEs , including
2 Managers .
Develop and implement evidence-based practices to enhance
patient safety, quality outcomes, and efficiency .
Ensure compliance with
legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards
while staying ahead of industry benchmarks.
Manage patient flow, admission/discharge planning, and care coordination policies to deliver exceptional care.
Foster interdisciplinary communication and collaboration to meet the needs of patients and families.
Lead initiatives to achieve an unparalleled patient experience and advance clinical excellence.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
required;
Master’s Degree preferred .
Current RN license
in Texas or an active compact license.
BLS certification required;
ACLS preferred.
NRP, FHM, or RNC-OB certifications
are a plus.
Minimum 3 years of NICU leadership experience
required.
Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and clinical operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
