Overview
Johnstone Supply is seeking a Commercial Sales Manager to join our team. This individual has a passion for building relationships and closing deals. Results-oriented with a proven track record in commercial sales, this role is for you.
Responsibilities The responsibilities of the Commercial Sales Manager include, but are not limited to:
Sales Execution: Lead the sales process from prospecting through closing deals; prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and contracts; negotiate pricing and terms to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
Business Development: Identify and pursue business opportunities within the commercial market; develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales goals; conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key clients; act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships; present solutions to meet client needs and challenges.
Collaborating & Reporting: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service; provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to management; utilize CRM system to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
Market & Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies; serve as a knowledgeable resource on company products and services.
Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality products and favorable terms; negotiate contracts, pricing, and agreements with vendors to secure the best value for the company; stay informed on industry trends and innovations to identify potential new suppliers.

Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years experience in category management, purchasing or similar role
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with computers and different software programs
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Preferred
HVAC industry, distribution, and logistics experience
Master's degree in Business, Marketing
Strong knowledge of Eclipse (CRM)
