Responsibilities Responsible for organizing, directing, performing, and supervising department activities according to Vibra Healthcare Policies and Procedures as well as complies with Policies and Procedures set forth by the facility. Reviews department performance, effects changes as needed to improve services provided, and assures compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Communicates department activities, needs, and problems to CEO and Clinical Operations Pharmacy team. Collaborates with CCO/CNO/COO, Medical staff, and nursing staff. Performs clinical and operational pharmacy duties as needed. Participates in the hospital Antibiotic Stewardship Program with a focus on patient safety and public health.

Qualifications Qualifications / Skills:
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital pharmacy experience
Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a PharmD or equivalent degree
Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of employment (or eligible for reciprocity)
Additional Qualifications / Skills:
Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred
Experience with pharmacokinetics and anticoagulation preferred
TPN experience required
Current, valid and active BLS certification from a Vibra Travels - approved vendor preferred
Previous acute care experience required
Automated pharmacy dispensing
IV Laminar flow hood
Electronic medical records experience preferred
Ability to project a professional image
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills
Strong knowledge of drug therapies, dosing, interactions, and compounding practices
Experience with electronic medication records and order entry systems (e.g., Pyxis, EPIC)
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to function independently and make sound clinical decisions under pressure
Knowledge of regulatory standards and hospital compliance requirements
Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace
