Details We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CFO to join our growing team in the Non Profit Industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in strategic decision making and operations as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, securing of new funding, and financial reporting. You will be responsible for managing all financial actions of the company, establishing credibility, and becoming a trusted business partner with the senior leadership team. Responsibilities Chief Financial Officer (CFO) reports to the President and CEO and works closely with senior leadership and the Board of Directors to align financial strategy with the organization’s mission and goals. The CFO oversees a team and manages all aspects of accounting, finance, budgeting, and contracts. The CFO will collaborate on financial planning, support program leadership, and maintain professional relationships with funding agencies and vendors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required; CPA or MBA preferred; at least 5 years in a relevant senior leadership role.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance with a proven ability to manage a complex organization’s accounting, finance, and administrative functions.

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting with a successful track record of setting priorities, thinking analytically, solving problems, and making sound decisions.

Strong understanding of nonprofit financial management, including government contracts, grants, and third-party billing.

Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Technology savvy, with experience overseeing technology staff; understanding of the impact of technology and automation on performance and efficiency; track record of leveraging technology to create efficiency.
