Follow @blackstone on , , and .The Analyst will support the Government Relations (“GR”) team focused on Blackstone Credit and Insurance through policy analysis and engagement, contributing to transaction evaluations and broader team objectives. In collaboration with the team, the Analyst will track and analyze individual transactions for geopolitical, legislative and regulatory risks. Additionally, the Analyst will monitor relevant regulatory developments in the U.S. and globally that may impact the private credit industry.**Responsibilities:*** Maintain a system to track investments and assist the team in analyzing investments for regulatory, legislative, and reputational risk.* Assist in the preparation of policy memos for team leadership engagements with government and regulatory officials.* Ensure continuous monitoring and evaluation of all US and global legislative and regulatory changes affecting Blackstone investments for further dissemination and analysis to support business goals.* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to enable a timely and seamless exchange of information across teams and assist in the review of transactions.* Assist in the development of efficient internal processes to facilitate review of transactions.**Qualifications:**Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.* 1+ years of experience* Strong professional integrity and highly motivated* Meticulous attention to detail* Demonstrable skills distilling complex technical information into clear messages that resonate with internal stakeholders on the most complex and ambiguous issues.* Self-starter who can manage time and multi-task effectively and focus on delivering results.* Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.* Demonstrated success working in a team environment.* Credible and persuasive when working with internal and external stakeholders* Resilient and diplomatic; effectively manages tensions to achieve outcomes that work for all parties.* Knowledge of legislative and executive branch processes.* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.The duties and responsibilities described here are not exhaustive and additional assignments, duties, or responsibilities may be required of this position.
Assignments, duties, and responsibilities may be changed at any time, with or without notice, by Blackstone in its sole discretion.**Expected annual base salary range:**$85,000 - $115,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses.
