Anne Arundel Veterinary Emergency Clinic (AAVEC), located in Annapolis, MD, is seeking veterinarians passionate about emergency medicine for a 6-9-month training and mentorship program. We seek team-oriented, driven, reflective, and reliable individuals to train and transition into an ER position at our hospital. The Ethos ER Immerse Training Program
The ER Immerse Training Program will prepare veterinarians for a sustainable and satisfying career in emergency medicine. Built from the ground up to be different than traditional rotating internship programs, the ERi program has been developed around a curriculum of core competencies essential for an emergency veterinarian. In addition to training around clinical knowledge and skills, the program focuses on client and team member communication, professional skills, and life/work integration. The ER Immerse program utilizes a hybrid training approach incorporating simulation-based didactic components into authentic training experiences with live patients. The curriculum is designed using an evidence-based strategy identifying competencies and skills deemed essential for a successful career as an emergency clinician. Program Duration/Commitment
6-9 month training program beginning June/July 2026 1-year commitment as an ER mentee/associate veterinarian at AAVEC Location
