Overview

AWS is seeking an experienced Sales Specialist to help establish AWS as the market leader for Amazon Connect - Amazon’s Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS). This service is part of AWS’s growing SaaS offerings. The ideal candidate will have enterprise sales experience in telecommunications, VoIP, CRM/ERP applications, call/contact center and/or the integration of these complex solutions, be a self-starter, and be willing to operate both tactically and strategically. As a key team member in this space, you will help drive growth and shape the future of this service category.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and market share for AWS.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute against a sales plan.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Work with partners and OEMs to extend reach and drive adoption of AWS solutions.
  • Manage contract negotiations along with the core sales organization.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.

About the team

This position is part of the Amazon Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their technology domains, providing business and technical expertise to help customers succeed. Partner teams own strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for complex challenges.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
  • 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience.
  • Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans.
