Job DescriptionJob Description The Program Coordinator will organize and lead faculty in a manner that ensures quality classroom instruction. They will administer programs, monitor the learning process and tailor course materials to the levels and needs of individual students, which will ultimately allow students to develop employable skills leading them to jobs that are commensurate with student ability and employer expectation.
The Welding Program Coordinator will have a hand in:
Instructional Delivery
Student Service
Subject Matter Expertise
Faculty Management, Mentoring, and Training
Program Administration
Position Requirements:
5 or more years of recent work experience as a welder, not including apprenticeship
Proficient knowledge in the welding industry - GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, and Plasma
3 years’ classroom teaching experience at the post-secondary level
3 years of successful leadership and management experience
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:00pm
