Team Leader - Coordinator HR Recruitment – Lead and Shape Our People and Culture Services

Drive excellence in recruitment and HR practices as our Team Leader - Coordinator HR Recruitment. This role offers the opportunity to provide expert consultancy to senior management, support an integrated staffing model, and contribute to the growth and success of RMCLHN’s workforce.

About the Role:

The Team Leader - Coordinator HR Recruitment is accountable to the Manager HR Operations for delivering expert HR consultancy and advisory services, particularly in recruitment, retention, and workforce planning. The role ensures consistent, high-quality advice in line with SA Health Workforce policies and processes, while contributing to the effective management of operational HR issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic and operational HR advice across recruitment, retention, deployment, and classification matters.
  • Supporting senior management in workforce planning, performance review, and employee relations.
  • Assisting with the resolution of complex issues such as under-performance, misconduct, and grievances.
  • Leading and supervising Assistant HR Consultants, fostering growth and capability in the team.
  • Contributing to the design and delivery of HR training and information sessions for staff.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience leading and managing a small team to deliver effective HR services.
  • Experience providing expert HR advice and consultancy to senior management, including policy interpretation and complex employee relations.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Experience in generalist HR functions, including classification, performance management, disciplinary processes, investigations, and reporting.
  • Experience developing, delivering, and evaluating HR-related training.
