Compensation: $16.50 - $22.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

The role involves greeting customers, directing them to products or parts specialists, checking out customers, and deterring shoplifters. You will keep the front area stocked and displayed, stock merchandise according to planograms, and complete sales preparation. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Merchandiser: Greet customers on the sales floor, assist in locating merchandise or direct to parts specialists for hard parts; check in, price, and stock merchandise; maintain display fronting and cleanliness; implement display changes per guidelines; update out-front pricing; ensure sale signs and sale merchandise are properly stocked and removed when sale ends; assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns; work with manager to complete store tasks; act as the main shoplifting deterrent/front floor security; perform O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities; clock in/out according to policy.
• Cashier: Check out customers for front floor merchandise, handle returns, and assist during busy periods by completing tickets and processing payments (money, checks, and credit cards).

Qualifications

• Required: Good aptitude with numbers, strong interpersonal communication, and organizational skills.
• Desired: Previous cashier and/or stocking experience; ability to drive manual transmission vehicle; fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
