Compass Group is hiring: LEAD JANITOR (FULL TIME) in Crawfordsville

Overview

SSC is hiring immediately for a full-time Lead Janitor position. Location: Crawfordsville Community School - 1000 Fairview Avenue, Crawfordsville, IN 47933. Openings at other locations within the school district available. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule

Full-time schedule. Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise custodial staff; train team members and oversee training activities for custodial associates.
• Conduct classroom and hands-on training on customer service, safety, compliance and company policies; provide one-on-one training as needed.
• Update and train on use of janitorial equipment, PPE and chemical usage/safety.
• Copy and revise training materials; perform administrative tasks as requested.
• Provide feedback on new associates during orientation; review trainee records for compliance.
• Recommend disciplinary actions to training coordinator as appropriate.
• Perform periodic safety and compliance reviews (e.g., OSHA, Risk Management) and ensure adherence to applicable requirements and policies.
• Conduct walk-through building inspections as required; perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial and lead experience required.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay Range: $14.50 per hour to $16.00 per hour.
• Overtime available.
