Overview
Office Assistant role at Switchgear Power Systems.
Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm or Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities
- Help determine materials type and thickness needed for parts.
- Help feed ERP with material requirements for MRP.
- Print and distribute job routings (job packets).
- Assemble drawings (prints) and fabrication lists (FPL).
- Generating packing slips for shipping.
- ECN routing.
Key Job Duties (not Exhaustive)
- Understand mathematics to verify job requirements and specifications.
- Hold high quality standards to meet customer specifications.
- Follow company policy and standards.
- Keep work centers clean and orderly.
- Process engineering data for use on the production floor.
Required Skills And Experience
- Proficient using MS Office Suite.
- Good organizational skills.
- Task and Goal Focused – Self Motivated.
Desired Qualities and Attributes
- 1+ years Fabrication/Manufacturing experience.
- Ability to work and function as a team.
- Self-motivated and can work without much supervision.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal).
- Strong blue-print reading skills with attention to detail.
- Is safety minded and puts safety first while performing job duties and functions.
- ERP experience.
